The clutch pill?

Mine never interferes either... shrug.

Has everyone written their letter to the SEB about rule 14.2.F? Wing Removal should be allowed!

If the proposal to delete 14.2.F passed, I assume the proposal to change 14.2.C would pass as well, which would allow you to remove wings.

I would still rather just keep 14.2.F though.

I agree with you guys. According to what I heard, there was no feedback supporting the Feb fastrack wing changes. I think most of us assumed that the changes were acceptable, so didn't comment on them.

Now 3 members of STAC have said to send a comment in, if you want to keep the option open for some wings spoilers, lips, etc. Due to the lack of feedback from the earlier proposal, they put the "Stock rules for aero" proposal out there to shake things up.

So just saying on the simple form, on www.sebscca.com, that you support the ST class aero allowances, would greatly help to stop the rule take-back.

This may be a dumb question, but is wing removal on a non-RS still illegal, even though the RS has no wing?

It doesn't make sense that you'd be able to add a wing to an RS (since cars with neither a factor wing nor spoiler may add either), but not remove it from a non-RS

I believe it would be illegal until the rule is changed in 2011.

They need opinions. If they don't hear anything, then they assume no one wants it to change. They need to hear opinions!

If people don't care to change the rule, feel free to admire my new wing

I sent my letter in to keep aero parts in ST. Oh yeah, it would be illegal to add a vortex generators under the new rule too. Takebacks are not a good idea to let pass easily, just wait until they takeback HF cats, downpipes, race seats, O2 housings, etc.

I drive an MR, they were there when I got it. The new rule would be a number of people unhappy about having possibly effective areo in play. I welcome a change as I love having my wing gone, for all the great benefits.

I'm actually in favor of the new rules but I may be part of the minority ... the last thing I want is the ST class to become another SP class with all the allowances.

Mr. Happy it was nice meeting your in person during the OVRSCCA event.

So, after reviewing '09 national results... something came to mind...

Aside from Rick's Evo... I didn't see another evo VIII... all IX's and STi's... Is this a prep issue? driver issue? or VIII an underdog, minus a quality tested, tuned, fully STU-legal built VIII... Thanks!

I was driving the Graphite Gray EVO8 MR in STU. Yea, saw your black wingless SMS Evo ... I was up against Aaron Ritch in his white STi ... he's a heck of a driver. Unfortunately all my runs that day were dirty, kept nicking those things with my rear tires, sigh. Started off ahead of him (in raw times) when it was wet then fell about 0.1 sec behind him in raw times when it dried up.

I had an EVO8 during the 09 nationals but I'm no where near the caliber of drivers that compete at that level.

There were more VIII than IX drivers in the trophies (spots 1, 2, 4, 9, 11 vs 6, 7, 10).

+1. And there were a lot of us who drove badly, despite having a capable car.
