2010 Redline Time Attack Rules
I say stock aero means stock aero, if you allow lips then someone makes a lip thats functional like a diffuser then there might as well be no rule there. If the rule is that it must be stock or factory option then there's really no exceptions. As far as the steering wheel goes I see no real performance advantage, only a safety concern without the airbag but if you've got a harness then it shouldn't matter.
I have a roll bar and harnesses dont really see the need for a airbag.
And there are cars that can switch to another OEM bumper(such as a nismo bumper on 370z) that have basically splitters. Besides the point, but if its a splitter then no.. but as long as it doesn't protrude past the stock body work I dont see the problem.

SUBJECT: Airbag Advisory
It has been brought to the attention of SCCA Technical Services that the use
of full-face or closed-face helmets while driving vehicles with active airbag
restraint systems may result in injuries in the event of a crash that deploys
the airbag. Because of the location of the steering wheel relative to a
driver’s position, the airbag axis is on a level with the driver’s chin. In a
crash with airbag deployment, contact with the chin area of a full-face
helmet can be so powerful “that the risk of fractures to the jaw cannot be
ruled out“ (Hubert Gramling, FIA Institute, FT3/AF, 18.5.1999). This applies
to vehicle that may be used in Solo, RallyCross, High Performance Car
Control Clinics, etc.
Therefore, it is highly recommended that full-face helmets not be used in
vehicles with functional airbag systems. Potentially more restrictive language
is currently being considered for 2005, which could appear in an early 2005
issue of FasTrack. If you have any questions, please contact the SCCA at
(800) 770-2055."
Well if I try and pretend to compete again this year, I guess I need to buy and mount a fire extinguisher
Otherwise the rules are fine for me
(well I didn't really read them... but it doesn't matter for me)

Revised rules have been posted up this week.
They laxed the requirements in Enthusiast & Street a bit - if you have a proper seat and harnesses; you don't need airbags or the OEM steering wheel anymore. This one I actually asked about and it makes good sense.
I read some stink from others about the 4" minimum ride height rule in Enthusiast & Street classes. I haven't measured my car but I'm thinking my current cannister muffler hangs pretty low!

What sucks for anyone in the Midwest that likes to play with NASA and RTA is the schedule. 2 out of the 3 dates overlap with NASA MW dates unfortunately. The other is up in New Jersy in early April! At least, these are the dates I found posted up:
April 10-11, New Jersey Motorsports Park, Lightning Circuit - Redline Time Attack
June 13 - Autobahn - Redline Time Attack
July 18 - Nashville - Redline Time Attack

The biggest stink now is that open dumps are outlawed in enthusiast and stock classes and the APR GTC-300 wing is to large for use in the street class.
The height rule has slightly came down from the previuos 4 inches in street class to the current 3.5 inches in street but enthusiast will stay at a max 4" ride height...

Those are simple things to fix. Get a tubular ebay O2 housing, and sell the APR wing and get something smaller. In the grand scheme of things that's pretty minor for annual rule adjustments. Getting your car to conform to class rules is what racing is all about.
Now get to work!

I think the trickiest thing to do is to fab up a twin scroll set-up that has the open dumps routed back into the exhaust... which cost money...
The rest is easy to deal with...
