100K miles on the RacingBrake Rotors

On the DD/Work car I have reached the 100K miles on the RB single piece slotted rotors and they look great, ready for the next 100K miles. I think the rotors will outlast the car!! They were installed with 30K on the clock after the stock rotors gave up and I have 130+K on the clock now. The car is loaded everyday with a few hundred pounds of tools and work stuff so it is being worked pretty hard daily as far as the brakes are concerened. And I used a set and 1/2 of brake pads in 100K miles. That kind of life from a set of rotors is very cost effective to say the least. Happy Holidays to all, Pete

Jesus you have 130k miles on a IX!!! That's crazy.

Are there track days on those rotors too?

Holy crap, and I thought my 51k miles was high for an IX. Glad to hear she is still running strong for you! I also would like to know how many track days you have seen with that setup.

Thanks

With track time, street Ferodo's for the DD and DS3000's on the track I've already burned up 2 sets of rotors in 50k miles. Good to know!

There is a slight error here..my work car is a Subie outback. Looking at when I posted this..should explain how that could happen...but the rotors are still amazing...even if my brain isn't. Pete
