Congrats to Ken and Alex
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/motor...tm?csp=usat.me

It will be good to have an American to root for, if I can just find a way not to want to strangle his fanboys now....

It will also be good to see both him and foust running the Fiestas in RA this year, another top end car to fight it out with the Subies and Evos. Definately looking forward to watching it. Hopefully ford will make the car available to the general public soon.

I'm pleased to see any American running full time in the WRC and hope to see it bring more light to the sport in the US. I just really hate his fanboys, alot. I will be cheering for him and Alex though, mae no mistake there.

I'm just waiting to see how loyal the fanboys are when he gets eaten alive by Latvala, Sordo, Hirvonnen and Loeb not to mention the Solbergs and the other drivers. Hope he does well though for national pride sake.

I am happy to have an American to cheer for in the WRC. So, should I start checking the Ford dealers for used Imprezas?

Yeah my guess is he gets beaten pretty badly. Hopefully his prescence is enough to make WRC and rally in general more popular in the US.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not wishing him to get beaten up on the stages, but its going to be a significant learning curve.

Hopefully it brings us some TV coverage, and generally more publicity for the sport. Ken's a great driver, but WRC will probably humble him some, I'm definately a fan, I just don't roll a Subi, nor ever plan to, lol.

They are going to get punished.

I just have a feeling that Rally USA/ XGames events are not the best way to prep for WRC.
