Robispec Mod Class Time Attack evo9 build
We're nearly finished with a new build, so I thought it may be a good idea to post some pictures of the project. This car will be competing in Redline Time Attack Modified Class as well as some NASA TT events.
The nice thing is that the car already had some really nice parts in it that make it go really fast:
Our first task was to strip the interior and body panels, remove all the unnecessary sheet metal, and put in a roll cage:
When the cage was finished we sent the car and body panels to be painted:
Plenty of room for that 285 with these fenders:
Here's the car, along with another project, parked for the night:
Next up is to put the rest of the body back together, finish some wiring under the dash, and put together the suspension when the shocks get here today or tomorrow.

Is that a bolt in roll bar that you just added the front too? Just wondering cause it looks alittle far back for the hoop. I have always thought that my autopower roll bar was alittle far back and have hesitated just adding on to it.
Nice build! Can't wait to see it done.

We did a bit more work on the car over the last few days.
One was cleaning up some of the wiring under the dash and making a panel for gauges. There had previously been some sort of an alarm/ remote start system in the car, which was both poorly installed and then poorly removed. After cutting out a bunch of wire that went nowhere I was left with this:
so I fixed that up and made a panel for the dash:
I removed some unnecessary wiring while I was at it:
Then I took some pictures of stuff, like the bumper and doors:
Also a package came today:
By the end of next week this car should be pretty much done.
Oh, and have I mentioned that the car is not entirely white?
