VIR Anyone?
VIR Anyone?
This is bound to be a great event. It is between December 6 and 7, first day on the south or north loop depending on your experience with tracking; and on the second day it is on the full loop for everyone.
It is hosted by the Audi club (4WD guys
), and they have some of the best instructors and tracking program. You will most certainly not be disappointed. And for a two-day program, the price is very reasonable: $275.

Thanks for the info. I have signed up. They say several Evo's are coming so far. It will be interesing to see how the 4 wheel drive Evo stacks up against the 4 wheel drive Audis. I think the Evo has a weight advantage but some of the Audis are very powerful, so we'll see. The course looks very challenging, at over 3 miles in lenghth with several very fast sections combined with hairpins, S's, and some significant elevation changes, etc.

I think VIR is the Nurburgring of the US East coast. Very challenging and fun. Takes time to learn. In addition to the Evos (unfortunately, none of the DCEvoClub members are joining) there will be at least 3 STis there, including our development one. So things will definitly be fun and challenging.
Make sure you make your hotel reservations as well. Nothing definite, but I think we will be leaving on late Fridday afternoon from DC Metro area.
Hope to see you there.
