Suggestions to temporarily increase ride height
So I've been struggling with creating a easy to load/unload trailer solution and the biggest problem I'm having is clearing the ramps/trailer when loading, due to the car's super low right height.
Never even mention if I decide to put a splitter on the front. I'd never get it on.
So what is everyone doing in order to move their car without having clearance problems?
My first thought is get something like 4 spare tires which could hopefully get it up higher, possibly different tires on them with taller side walls.
Don't they make some sort of tire that increases the right height temporarily to load/unload race cars?
I can't even find a place online to purchase spare tire wheels.

Hey Fireball,
I make a kit that raises the front 2", to get it up trailer ramps. Prob takes ~15 min to install. It only works with Ciro Design camber/caster plates.
Remember tires will only raise the car 1/2 the diameter change. Plus you have to change/bring all 4 due to the center diff. Then you still need to raise the front lower perches. I got tired of resetting the ride height!
Some things I've done:
Altering the ride height just for transport would be my last option. It'd be a pain and I'd know I'd forget and have some wasted sessions. Keep in mind most maxed out cars with aero remove the front bumper in order to load the car and strap it down.
- Jack up the front of the trailer
- Park the trailer creatively. Like search for a low/high spot to position it to help out
- Get longer ramps. They make fancy 'race ramps' specifically for this
- Extend current ramps - some 2x6's or 2x8's go a long way.

I always jack the front of the trailer up, and I have long 6' ramps I have a very low car and never scrape. I have an open trailer so it helps that I have two separate ramps rather than the "door type" ramp that comes on a enclosed trailer. If you think about it the first part that would hit would be the center front of the bumper on a "door type" ramp.
I agree, jack the trailer and use LONG ramps. That will def. do the trick and will be lots easier than raising the car.

Ditto, I have 4 foot steel ramps that come with the trailer, and I use 2x 8 foot 2x12 extensions off of that supported with 4x4 and 2x6 blocks under that. Takes a bit to setup, but clears my APR tray and my brake ducting below that no problem.
I is probably going to be easier to go to work on some wooden blocks that you can place under the car at the difficult places, rather than trying to figure out an easy way to raise it.
