I think Rally Tennessee is still my favorite event. I co-drove RT in an Evo VII in '06 when we competed there as part of the '06 USRC National Championship. The locals love the event, and are very welcoming. And the roads are simply amazing: lots of elevation changes and banked turns and sweepers, with some off camber to keep you on your toes. Chipped tar surface is very grippy, and in '06 some of the Irish came down from the Northeast in their Evos, and there were also those competing in the USRC championship, so the competition was great too!!
hi guys i just got back. The event is awesome!!! The people is great .
I tried as hard as we could , but we couldnt over come our deficit in this event even when i tried to make up in the turns so hard , at one stage i drove the R888' off from the fornt right wheel and we got a air pressure lost and we had to change the tire since it did go flat.
I have a video when i do a hairpin turn /left/ and the out side tire couldn't take the abuse anymore on hot tarmac.
If you guys want ot see it i'll try to post it. it became a 22 minute video , with alll the tire change and stopping rally drivers try to help. /its boring though/
Thanks for the kind words Logan.
Also i have to say the AST suspension is the a master piece. It is simply amazing. Travel dampening and everything. I will write a little bit more about it, just i need some rest. We just got home.
Thanks again Rob
