ya. that would b really nice after the 02 season. but hey, mitsu cleaned scca so i dont see why it cant do the same in the wrc

From what I understand Mitsu will be running the Evo VII WRC until mid season when the Evo VIII will be complete and ready for competition. This Evo VII however is not exactly the same as the 2002 WRC car as it is using newly developed parts. Think of it as a Lancer Evo WRC step 3. How big of an improvment this is we'll still have to see, but don't hold your breath about it's competitiveness until they unveil the Evo VIII WRC which is almost 100% new.

This is not the new WRC car, only an update of the old one.
The new one should be viewed in public for the first time in Italy on Nov 27, before a full assult on the wrc in 2004
