Best resource for purchasing Track Day Stuff (fluids/pads/etc)

Been outta trackin an evo for almost 2 years... some of my usual vendors have closed up shop and moved on...

Plus, I think this would be a great place to throw in all the wear and tear, and pricing on the stuff we burn through.

Looking for your perferred vendors and best place to buy:

Motul 600
Performance Friction Pads/Rotors
Race rubber (Nittos or Toyos)

Thanks!

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Try GTWorx and MAP for fluids and pads.

Discount Tire carries Nitto/Toyo (and they heat cycle).

Thanks for the hit on gtworx...

but they're over $100 bucks more than AMS for the same stuff, and honestly i've never looked at AMS as being "cheap".

For brakes I like Girodisc, they always have the stuff I need stocked and they are a local (for me) company with great service. They are still active in the EVO community so I like that as well. They carry Raybestos ST43's which are great race pads, and their rotors are excellent.

pads and rotors - http://www.andrew-racing.com/ - Former AI National Champion so he knows he junk. Plus NASA trackside support in the midwest & mid-alantic regions.
Or if you want good solid cheap blanks; pm KNS Brakes here on the boards.

Fluid - Most everyone now is dumping Motul and getting the AMSOIL DOT4. I highly recommend it; right at the same price. Or go ***** out and do SRF - I think AMS sells it.

Tread - I run all Hoosiers and order from trackside vendors. Discount Tire does sell Nitto from what I remember.

Anything more in depth; just pm me dude.

We haven't updated our pad selections on our website in a long time....pricing is probably off.

We haven't sold PFCs much lately (maybe because of the price we have them at ). We've been doing more of the Carbone Lorraine and Hawk for race pads instead based on feedback we've been getting.

Also, Ken at KNS brakes (EvoBrakes) is great to talk to and the man for rotors and Hawk stuff. A real brake engineer. Give him a shout.

Hey B, bout damn time u came back . Fluid I'd locate racer parts wholesale there in Indy. Southside of town if memory serves, but they're online too, cheapest I've used/ seen for srf or motul or Discovery Parts. PF I still use porterfield with the NASA discount. Nittos discount tire for sure. The rest map or ams, map has sent me stuff quicker so I tend to use them more. Welcome back bro.

Just for future people. Went through KNS brakes for my PF rears and Motul, and AMS for my PF Fronts.

Bought used rotors off the forum here.

and running full tread street tires until budget allows otherwise.....
