2011 Scca rules

Has anyone looked at the rules? I cant believe the changes.
For STU it seems like 17x8" MAX wheel size. It seems as though the rules are very very loose for this year. I did not see that stu requires a cat.

I will need some suggestions as to what people think about these rules, looking to build the car to a specific class, if possible.
Happy 2011

Are you talking ST-U road racing or STU autocross?

STU autocross class has no wheel width limit, but there is a tire width limit of 245 for AWD cars. Cats are also required.

you posted the 2010 rules book....
As i look, i cant seem to find the 2011 rules. Maybe I was looking at the "2011 GENERAL COMPETITION RULES"

----Aren't the 2011 solo rules suppose to be out already?

New rules are usually posted 1-2 months into the year. National events don't start until about March anyway. Look at the fastracks for any upcoming rules changes.

When the 2011 rules are posted they will most likely be in the same place. If you want a definite answer call or email the scca.

The STU rules for 2011 should be the same as 2010, except for no aftermarket wings. Plus removal of the stock wing is now allowed.
