need to find a mechanical rear diff assembly for evo x

Hey all,
i'm going to a full stand alone ecu/power management system and need to get a new rear diff as the active rear diff will no longer work. i'm having a lot of problems finding a complete assembly plated rear diff for a 08 evo x.

any one have any ideas?

thanks
kyle

we've put a 8 rear diff in an X. its really simple. sheptrans sells the mount adaptors, and the different driveshafts you'll need. other then that, cap off the hydraulic lines going to the X diff and your good to go.

thanks Kevin, i talked to Trevor at Sheptrans. $900 for the kit and $350 if you want to re-build your used diff. he was saying that you can use the old driveshaft tho.

Reviving dead thread here, but how'd the swap work out for you guys? Did the stock ECU go nuts? It's the one thing i'm worried about.
