What are the thoughts on using the brackets in conjunction with a stiffer than stock bar?

Approximately 150% stiffer than stock.

The brackets will work with aftermarket bars, but the stiffest settings may over stress the end-link hardware, due to the increased angle. Even with a stiffer bar, the brackets would provide 3 levels of adjustability. So adds another method to balance the chassis quickly.

Rick, the cusco ones I have (got them from a pretty nice guy, btw ) went one step soft and two steps stiffer. I flipped them left to right, and they now give me two steps soft and one step stiffer. Could I do the same with yours, if I wanted to make whatever bar is on the car softer?

Just to be clear I am still interested. I just suck at updating these things. That whole "first kid" thing does seem to take up a lot of time

lol I have read all your threads and thought it would be fun to meet you/run against you. I mostly compete in the wdcr events at fedex field, maybe I will see you there?

Ah that's why I haven't seen you. My last event was July - after that it was daddy time. I think I have seen you on CCEvo though so now it all makes sense.

How far gone is your car? Is it moddable back to STU?

Idk its pretty far gone. If I pulled out my cams I could drop down to asp but honestly there is no one who is competing in asp clsss near me. I don't want to win for just showing up.

So I just run in sm and enjoy the intense competition. But there are a lot of people I know that compete in stu. A lot of sti's lol...

And yes I am on ccevo a lot, sell parts and tires to a lot of guys on there.

Yes, to a degree We improved the angle of the flange for the mounting holes, to align better with the end-link positions. So if you flipped them, the extreme soft #5 position may need a spacer for the end-link, which may come in the complete kit anyways. Probably not a concern as most people won't need to run a 150% softer bar.

Should have the latest version FSB adjustable brackets in next week. The optional end-link hardware kit is still undergoing testing, since our season is just starting up again.

Rick
