anyone know where some tracks are around Chicago? kinda new at it and would like to be able to start racing, first time in two years my car is gona be 100% ready to race. thinking bout checking out this place( http://www.autobahncc.com/ ) anyone ever go here?

SCCA AutoX doesn't necessarily have "tracks" in the traditional sense, as each event has a different course every time.

What class do you plan on running in? There's a ton of good AutoX'ers on the forum here, feel free to ask questions as you come across them.

 

would the general membership meeting/prospective membership seminar on April 20 (lol 420) at black dog speed shop be something worth checking out? not sure what class i wana be in yet. thanks for the help btw

 

i see there's a solo event at route 66 coming up on the 10. anyone know if you can just got there and participate or do you need to register in advance?

 

A lot of the really fast Chicago guys drive up to Milwaukee. Their site is just awesome. I make the drive there on a regular basis.
