I am sure you know this by now but for everyone else who may not....

There is no such thing as a track/street pad.... especially for an Evo.

For AX/Street the RacingBrake ET 500 or ET 800 are great compounds, very little noise and not alot of dust. These both will work very well on a DD car that does not get to the race track but does get some exercise on the street or the AX course. MPG

+1 Truth!

At the time my car was at near factory level of power, but I am an 'advanced' driver, so they got pushed hard and put away wet (literally!).

2500's are great street pads for street tires or as a rear compound for autox, but I would run something slightly more if your on A6's and full weight. Would they work, yes, but they would wear fast. Good choice if your driving to the lot. As you get faster then you can upgrade.

Can anyone offer feedback on rotor wear with the CL RC5+ pads?

I'm looking for a set of pads for my SE and will be going back and forth between 285 A6s and 245 Star Specs/Hankooks.

I'm liking my redstuff so far for autox, seems to bite quite nicely and I have yet to have them fade. I put those on this winter along with slotted cryo'd rotorpros, super blue dot4 and some braided brake lines and they defiantly feel better than my old setup (stock everything except Hawk HPS pads).

I basically disintegrated some Hawk HP+ pads on Summit Point this past weekend. Did some off season power and dyno stuff, and the brakes were NOT up to the task. Now I am looking for the next step.

What I had:
PowerSlot rotors front and rear
Hawk HP+ pads
Techna-Fit SS lines
ATE Super Blue fluids

What I am looking for now:
Try and resurface the PowerSlots and then use them for Autocross only rotors
A great Autocross pad with great cold bite that can be co-driven and deal with continual abuse on the Autocross. Porterfields? (next autocross in two weeks so I need to get this taken care of)

A dedicated set of rotors and pads for the road course (not going back till fall so its not an immediate need)
DBA 4000 and RC-6 pads? Porterfields?

Any suggestions?
