Anyone know where I can get completely prep an Evo RS for road racing (ie roll cage, polycarbonate windows, etc.) in the D.C. area? I am doing a feasibility check before I order one.... Thanks in advance.

Do you subscribe to grassroots motorsports? They are a really good racing magizine based in the states. They have alot of advertisers that could help you out. They have a good website - just run a search.
Are you looking to campaign something is SCCA? T1 is the only road race class that they run in (Don't quote me on it though.)
Eventually I would try to get into SCCA regional club events. At first, I would just be doing a lot of track days, driving schools, etc. I just want to have some fun and not thrash my regular Evo. If I have some talent, then I would give the SCCA events a shot. I am already planning on running my current Evo in the SCCA Solo II events in DC this year (already registered). I will check that grassroots out though, thanks.

I'd strongly recommend taking the car to TAD Motorsports in Chicago. There is NOBODY in the US that knows EVO's as well as they do, and their cage builds are some of the best in the country (I'd rate them tops among all the current US rally prep shops). They built my E6.5 Open Class rally car and prepped an E4 grN car I had.Originally posted by Chris in HB

There is also Vermont Sportscar in Vermont that has run rally EVOs for years.
