the car is almost complete and ready for next weekend at MSR-H
todd got serveral things done today including swapping out the cat for a 2.5" test pipe we fabbed up for it. the test pipe was the last remaining point he had:
last, to clean up the airflow under the car he had a beatrush under tray for the front. since its not a lip or an airdam and is cutoff at the axles its no extra points:

got the exhaust components back from SPC... this coating is sopposed to hold up better for road racing so we will give it a try. while reassembling it we also drilled the bolts for safety wire and wired the bolts up!
car is back up and running. tomorrow we will dyno tune it again, and scale the car to see if we need to add more weight.
first 2012 race coming up this weekend!

the stock one is more then likely about the same as the beatrush as far as aero goes. the beatrush one is nicer down the middle because its more flat and smoother, however it isn't as wide as the stock one. the stock one does has some halfassed attempt at guiding air to the brakes but we run brake guides anyway so doesn't really do much for us.
the primary reason for the beatrush one is that its held on with only 4-6 bolts. the stock one has 25 plastic clips... so servicing the car is not an option with the stock undertray. thats why we never use the 8/9 undertrays.
we are using aftermarket stainless studs with washers, lock washers, and nuts. so far they have held on without loosening up. we will have to see how that lasts though now that they have been taken off once.

Car is dyno tuned now! 247whp and 259wtq. This has got to be the lowest hp Buschur motor ever. Dyno sheet will be uploaded later.
I am super happy with the results. Kevin almost reached the maximum of 260whp allowed for my car in the TTC class. I will let him elaborate on his tuning methods.
