Where Kiko breaks down the summary of rule changes from STX to STU:
It still doesn't allow a $100 boost controller.
So you'll still see a lot of "mildly modified" Evos bumped up to Street Modified.
For those willing to work within the Street Touring rules, this could be a nice class for the Evo owner who likes the stock A046 tires. As long as it remains a sedan class, I'd expect to see a PAX multiplier roughly equivalent to A Stock. You can either mount Hoosiers and go fast for autoX or you can do all of the ST mods and go fast for autoX and on the street. Your choice.

The difference will be :
3.0L Turbo Car.
Wheels width 9"
and wheels 275
The rest same as STX rules.

The car should be running in STX. It should never have been excluded. Write your letters!
Maybe the class would actually be faster than STS then.

Hehe, bunch of pansy-@$$ WRXs being beat by a Ford Escort and a Mazda Protege here in CSCC region
I agree, people thought the Evo was going to be some super car or something. Sure, it's fast but it's not beating every car out there. You guys just need to write letters with support. I sent a list of weight, hp, and torque for various FSP cars to get them to finally classify the Lancer in an SP class, and they classed the car a few months later. Voices are heard if you use them.
