Half of what he says sounds serious, and half doesnt... there is the chance that he REALLY needs to get rid of it that bad... I've seen it before, but, never, THAT badly... My dad got his S2k used awhile back for REALLY cheap, cuz the guy was getting married and going back to school, and just couldnt afford the payments.... so, it's possible, but even at 5500, it's very unlikely

Anytime it says "preapproved bidders only" it is probably a scam. If you look for a Harley you often see this exact wording alongside almost new Road Kings, etc. that are "buy it now" for about 1/2 of the expected price. Then they want you to pay with a money order or wire transfer. Check the eBay forums and there are a lot of people who have paid that way and then never heard from the seller again. Watch out.

This is a scam. I also looked up the VIN and found the car in CA, yet the auction says Michigan. Here is the link.

i dont get it though. if its a scam, why only scam for 5.5K.
If i was gonna scam someone, i would let them pay the full amount.
