Question about camber spec in shop manual

Shop manual specifies that rear camber should be

-1 degree 00' +- 30'

does that mean maxium negative camber would be

-1.5 degrees??
or
-1.3 degrees?

60 minutes in a degree, so that means -1.5.

Screw the shop manual, how aggressively do you drive? If you drive like grandma, set it at zero, if you drive like a bat out of hell, you might want more like -2. If you want the best handling, you need to spend some time dialing it in (starting with about -1 rear, -2.5 front). -1 to -1.5 is a general average for what kind of drivers they expect. But if you're just doing alignments, go with the shop manual.
