Glad we could inspire another to join the evo motorsports family! I hope you only ordered ASP legal parts, or you may have already made the move to SM (or prepared!)... Good luck with the build and see you out there soon!

Right now it would be considered ASP trim. I wouldn't be SM until S2 and GTX3071r. . Though I think the Evo 9 could double dip into SM with ASP trim and e85 no?

we've tried the SM with ASP evo thing. it's all fun and games until a half decent SM car shows up and mops the floor with us.

It really only works at Prosolo's and even then only when real SM evo's aren't there.

Thanks, John!

Just a quick update for now... Mike (Mr. MR) took first place in SM at the Washington DC ProSolo this weekend and I took second place! Mike also went on to win the Super Challenge! PJ and David were having some issues with the 240 this weekend, so we'll have a rematch without or awd launch advantage in about a month at the NE Divisionals (if we can make it) or at the Deven's Northeast National Tour.

Congrats! I was listening to the livestream and watching the live results, and wow you guys were really flying. I think I'm really going to have to step my game up to try and reach your level this year.

wow that looked intense. Great driving. Looks like alot of pressure and alot of fun at the same time. Is it just me or did that 370z leave early or just bolted off the line faster than you? I can't imagine he beat your reaction off the line and made several car lengths on you on the first 100ft.

Exactly. In the Super Challenge rounds, everyone has a dial in based on their class winner's fastest time on each side. Since the 370z is slower, it gets a head start. During regular competition, you are head to head with others in the same class, so the tree has no dial in.

The 370 had a slower dial in so it got a headstart. ...obviously not enough of one though!

Just FYI, we have the El Toro Prosolo in orange county in 3 weeks. You should come check it out.
