i have RS with no interior, and rear is really light with most of the weight removed from the rear. when i first got the car, it had ST43 front and rear. i was running Hoosier R6 and the rear locked up so easy. it's unproductive to try to modulate rear lockup because you're not using full bake force of the front. i kept going to lower rear compound till i ended up with street pads for rear, which seems to balance the brakes out. problem with street pads is although the torque is low, they just can't seem to handle the heat.

i'm now looking at installing a proportioning valve for the rear so i can run race pads that can handle the heat but lower the brake force in the rear.
