Brake Pedal Adjustment

Any of you guys ever fooled with adjusting the brake pedal height? Specifically I would like to raise it (0.5-1") to help with heel-toe. I've got huge feet and use the rocker method (my foot easily spans both pedals), but this only works when the brake pedal stays above the gas pedal.

I think the evos pedal set up very good positioned for heel and toe.
The best way if you really want to getting closer or higher for you is play with an after market pedal as an addition top of the pedal. So basically you can put spacers under it etc.

Well, my foot is a size 14-4E. And my right foot has a natural turn out of about 20 degrees. It is physically painful for me to rotate my right foot inward to get the heel out over the gas pedal. Plus there is a lack of room to do so with feet my size.

So having my brake pedal under threshhold at or a little above the gas pedal allows me to easily execute the rocker method.

Is the pedal always too low or just after the brakes get hot? If that's the case just be sure to tap them up with your left foot before you need them.

I do the left foot tap on any straights of length.

No even with fresh pads, fresh fluid and cold brakes, the pedal sinks just below the gas pedal under hard threshhold braking.

Just trying to get the setup to suit me better. I can toe-heel great at 80% braking. But in a TT session when I am really pressing the braking, the pedal sinks just below the gas and I struggle with it. This only became a problem on R compounds (Hoosiers) in heavy braking zones (like entering 10A at Road Atlanta).

Some folks probably don't have an issue with it.

You may have better luck moving the loud pedal down a little. The steel part of it is bendable I've moved it closer to the brake on both my evos since I'm only sporting a 12 EE. Or you could try this easy fix.

^Well now there is an idea. Easy and functional, bolted on for safety with nylocks.

I know where you're coming from, I once missed turn 12 @ Road America because the brake went down past the gas pedal. No fun at all pulling pea gravel out of every nook and cranny on an evo.
