I just received the kit in the mail and will most likely do it this weekend. Although, I realize how sick of cars i am right now. I am looking at the dash and dreading the 15 min its going to take me to get the dash out. . Way too much working on the car this year for my taste.

So, i spent some time yesterday and this morning flocking the dash. All I can say is WOW! This is such an easy bad *** mod for a race car. I've always hated the reflection i get in early morning or late afternoon sessions and this will help solve that problem. It was sooooo easy to do and looks amazing. I will post pics in a few days when i get it back in the car.
I also did some research on flocking after i finished the dash because of how good it looks. What i found out is that this DIY kit is just as good or if not better then pro flocking. The only difference is they use electrostatic charge to make the fibers stand on end. Which gives it a better feel. But, actually dosnt reduce glare as much as doing it without electricity.
Thanks for the tip filthy!
I only used 1 bag for the whole dash and shifter consol. It does require cleaning up and recycling the fibers but it wasn't a big deal.

No problem, glad you got around to doing it! Looking forward to the pics!
It's crazy how easy it really is, and how awesome it looks when completed.
Remember to use air to get all the extra fibers off after its cured, or else you'll have a mess in your car....ask me how I know.

I really cannot believe how good it looks. I've been trying to build a nice interior in the race car (ala, Robevo's car) and this is a great/ cheap addition.
Those fibers are insane. I can't believe how small they are. It's like dust.

Thanks man!
Have to pull the entire dash. It comes apart, so you can flock it in sections, so you're able to take your time on each section.
Hell yeah; post pics when you're done!
Feels just like suede as well.
I wonder if it would hold up on my steering wheel. I need to contact donjer and see if anyone has done it before.
