Redline Time Attack is pleased to announce that Time Attack is back!

The innogural event for the revamped Redline Time Attack will be held at Buttonwillow Raceway Park on November 18th, 2012.

We are excited for this exhibition event as it will feature our all new rule set (written by Chris Willard)

The event is open to both enthusiast drivers of any skill level as well as pros, and we welcome cars with any level of preparation, from stock to multi-million dollar race cars. If you've never been to a race track, this is your chance to run with the "Big Boys"! Seasoned drivers and pro teams can take this opportunity to dial in their vehicles and experience the freshly repaved "cotton corners" at Buttonwillow Raceway in preparation for Redline's full calander of events in 2013.

Time Attack sessions will be held in between our High Performance Driving Education(HPDE) and practice sessions, and of course, spectators are welcome. Come watch both grassroots drivers and professional team attack the track for the fastest lap times!

Champions will be awarded trophies in all classes and divisions.

Redline is back... are you ready?

He probably has an 900whp "street" car with no safety. LOL! And doesn't like the 36mm restrictor he has to run with his aftermarket turbo.

BTW, you can make 500whp on a 36mm restricter. Just no more than that. They want to keep the street class times slower than the modified class and unlimited. On top of that, you will actually be able to run a whole series of events without blowing up all the time...go figure!

You've seen my lap times, I'd be throwing my money away.

To be honest, I'm kinda done for the year. I have a laundry list of things I want to take care of on the car before next spring.
  • Post HPDE inspection
  • Clean calipers
  • Flush brake system
  • Diff/Transmission/Transfer case - change fluid
  • Air filter/MAF clean
  • Install Ducting
  • Install Radiator Shroud
  • Install Tow Hook
  • Fab custom aluminum heatshields + replace torn Whiteline RCK boot + regrease
  • Install SS Clutch Line + Restrictor Removal
  • Install Gauges

Sounds like something you can knock out in a weekend!!! Plus I think your car would fit into Enthusiast class as well!!!

Show me that crystal ball. Won't waste my time to clarify something with a nut head.

You should play the lottery !

I love you too buddy. Bench racing never got anyone anywhere. There are a few things I don't like about the rules, as does o everyone else, but Im not complaining. Anything I didn't like, I spoke to the Chris at RTA who is in charge vs crying about it on the internet. RTA is one of the few orginizations that will actually listen to their customers.

Hugs-Kisses!

I did try expressing how I feel about the rules with him as well since the release of the first draft. But, they do have their own perspective.

I believe there is lots of room for cheating on street class, yet it will be really competitive.

Anyways, I'll be there for the fun on the 18th. See you at the track!
