Sometimes thats not enough. I just broke my splitter support at Road America coming into turn 5 (about 160). I was able to nearly jump on my splitter (165lbs).

^ so you're generating about 200 lbs of down force on the front splitter?

I would protest that in SCCA street prepared as a Splitter not a Lip since it protrudes beyond the furthers point of the bumper.

I'm guessing that or even more. I broke the 3in stainless steel trigger clip (rated for 160lbs) that attached the steel cable to the frame behind the bumper cover. I'm going to switch to a carabineer style clip.

I would like to know the peoples opinion and also those who are knowledgeable about this type of stuff, and what YOU would classify it as. In the top two pictures laying on the ground is what I would consider a splitter.

Thanks in advance
It's a splitter.
