I'm researching brake pads/fluid and I want to see what most people run or suggest. In regards to "track" evo im referring to time attack and autox. I currently I have PFC 2pc rotors on my evo. Thanks

we run hawk blues if your on street tires for HPDE/time trials and autocross, and hawk dtc-70s for our time attack cars on hoosiers. our autocross cars on hoosiers run the blues too.

track pads
I found a killer setup for autocross and hdpe finally after trying out a few other pads:
Pads front: Hawk DTC60
Rotors Front: Works(RacingBrake) 2 piece slotted rotors
Pads rear: Ferodo Ds2500
Rotor rear: Centric (any blank should do)
Fluid: Motul RBF600
Brake lines: Technafit steel braided
the stopping power is ridiculous (I am talking stopping on a dime) when compared to a street pad. You could lose your lunch if you had your mouth open on a full hard stop. have not noticed any fade like I did when running stock rotors and Ferodo DS2500 front pads.
Only problem is I have to switch the front pads out when not running at the track. The squeel/noise of the hawks is horrendous at low speeds and they dust bad. Don't let the dust get wet or it turns into cement on your rims.
I usually bleed the motul before each event to keep it fresh, and I try to do a full flush at least once a year.

I run PFC 01 compound pads all around.
Racing brake 2 pc rotors front, 1 pc rear.
And Motul RBF600 fluid. Flush before each event.
I would not recomend these pads if you are on street tires.

i run Amsoil brake fluid. will switch to Castrol SRF next year.
Raybestos ST43 are great for street tires, and last pretty long and easy on rotors. loud as heck on the street though.
Hawk DTC60/70, CL RC6/RC8, Carbotech XP10/XP12, Raybestos ST47, Ferodo Dsuno, i've used all these pads on Rcomp tires and they are all good.

cause i gots money to burn
Amsoil worked great for me the last two years. i usually bleed my brakes before each event, not full flush. i've talked to many w2w racers this year and most say SRF is hands down the best, but it cost 3 times as much. i'll give it a try this year.
