It's a Camaro, therefore, not an Evo. Sorry. Either way, this is the end of the first session at our COTA test with the Stevenson Motorsport Camaro GS.R. Car literally rolled off the trailer like this. We went a few seconds faster by the end of the day and made the car use the track a bit more efficiently. Regardless, the engineering and tech teams at Stevenson do a phenomenal job making a car that is within range of a win so early in a weekend.
This track is amazing. It's just busy enough to keep you interested without be obnoxious. The surface is pretty green still, but by the race in March I'm sure it'll have some seasoning.
Sorry about the poor quality. Edited quickly to post before the other drivers did. FIRST!
Enjoy.
...okay, I don't know why this crappy forum won't embed the youtube media. Tried with media embedding on and off. Whatever. Here's the link:

COTA had a Cadillac "experience" type event the weekend before that I got to go to, and now I pretty much know that I need to drive this track as much as possible. It's that good (and it's also like, right there
). Sooooo much fun, though. MOAR!
FYI, OP--I think the Statesman had a pic of your helmet in their album.

Bonus material:
Later in the same day, car was better, as was my driving. Better quality video too. I do make a couple mistakes, but I never post my fast laps, obviously. You'll also notice the car runs out of gas toward the end-- we were testing fuel mileage. The automatic reserve was turned off so we didn't get any false empties. Enjoy, again!

Statesman = Austin's newspaper. Yo' hat is famous? Haha.
Where do you rank the track among your favorites Matt?
Thanks Matt... very neat.
At the beginning of Nov it was announced that SCCA will be racing there on the weekend of March 7-10. A couple weeks ago they released their new Majors tour schedule and its on there. Im hoping to see some of the fastest SMs at that race.
