the pikes peak hill climb is june 30th on colorado springs, CO. thats going to be the biggest "time trial" event in the US hands down.
the global time attack events are also tons of fun, pretty nice turn out for fans, but there werent a ton of cars racing. we will be doing it again this year with more cars for sure, but there arent any scheduled for july.

You should make changes and get to Pikes Peak at the end of June. Hands down the best timed racing event in US and the world! The western US is spectacular to travel around. From the coast of California and the redwood forest, Yosemite and all the Sierra mountains, high desert with wind carved canyons, and then the Rocky mountains are going to keep you busy having the best time of your life. You are not going to believe it until you start driving up Pikes Peak and reach the top at over 14,000 feet and look out over thousands of square miles from the clouds! The mountain, the lightning bolts, the party and the race cars sceaming passed thousands of spectators! No other rally or time attack in the US comes close to Pikes Peak.
i wish i could give you some info on time attack but i can't. just wanted to point out since you're going to be on the west coast why don't you check out some of the tuning shops out there? plenty of big name shops and i'm sure they would take the time out of your day to answer any questions about your setup.

Another option is NARRA:
Check out the Watkins Glen season recap video here:
I get a quick interview at 13:21 and my TT3 spec Blue Evo X MR is captured at 1:12, 13:58 & 20:47. While I only managed 4th in class both days, I wasn't more than a few tenths off 3rd place with me running street tires and a good 50 horsepower under class maximum for my weight thanks to the stock turbocharger.
I really think this series will take off and eventually it would be fun to battle it out in some door to door racing in the GT series with all those V8's and V10's. For now I plan on entering 5 events this year with NARRA and see how I fair running max horsepower for class on Hankook R-S3 tires to keep costs in check.

I'll be at Buttonwillow for Redline around the same time you will be Stateside. Pop by and say hello mate.
I'll be out there with a Apex Silver Evo 9.
I'm actually trying to get out to Australia for WTAC.
