I could not agree with you more, especially the guys that are running a lot more power than stock.

It shall be interesting who's EVO ends up fastest, especially with Derek stepping up and having his stuff track tested and tuned in Seattle. I am extremely curious to see if his pump gas flash runs as hard as Robi's. Looks like the T3 class at this years OTC will require a turbo/AWD car to be competitive.

Of course, we are all bringing Stock cars with a meager pump gas tune to the OTC. Your car has so few mods, it is what we consider 'stock' at RRE.

Ahh, common misconception. I didn't understand the terms at first either. DSM refers to a Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, or Plymouth Laser. So it basically refers to the joint venture between Mopar and Mitsubishi, where the two makes were built in the same plant. I think it also includes the Dodge Stealth/Mitsubishi GT3000 as well. But since the Lancer, and many other Mitsubishis, are built in a Mitsu only plant, it isn't a DSM.

Now for your second question, what's a Lancer? Well, speaking from a US point of view, it's a glorified Mirage. But yes, the Evolution is a model of the Lancer, even though their similarities are much less than they were in the pre-USDM days. I hope that helps.

Anyway, if I can switch work days with a coworker, I'll try to show up. Otherwise, I will try to make a different date in the future. Buttonwillow is an awesome and safe track to drive on.
