Dubai Autodrome Time Attack record - EVO X

Set a new record at round 3 of the UAE Time Attack series held at the Dubai Autodrome, despite a shocking turn 1!

The car is running near stock weight, 2.3l 520WHP/530WTQ, Dunlop Slicks (088 Compound), Alcon Race Spec, HKS FCon and Valcon, CF Propshaft, HKS Hipermax III (059) .... etc ....

Also set a new record at Yas, in Round 2

Get it right and the EVO X is a very fast and stable car ..... it's an easy drive!

Is your wiring harness and ABS still in the factory location? What are the ambient temps when you run on track? What is that black piece that is in the center of the strut bar?

We can run the car at an ambient of 40C/104F; but anymore than that and we start to run into oil temperature problems.

The last event it was 38C/100F.... after 5 laps the oil temp was 135C/275F, even with twin HKS oil coolers, cut fenders etc .... so we do what we can, but there is a limit!

The "black piece" is a duct that channels air from a modified front scoop to the turbo location...... it is one of our many cooling mods.....

Very cool! I got to run Yas Marina last year in the Formula Yas cars and it's an incredible track. The prices and availability to use the track for anyone seemed great too. Nice work!

Thanks for the feedback. Did you guys relocate the harness and ABS? I can't see it in your picture.
