Who's going?!

I'm running with COM on the 1st and 2nd up here at NHMS, but I definitely want to make it down for this event.

I will most likely be making the trip solo, so it would definitely be cool to know some people going!

 

It's less than 3 weeks away now that we just survived the Watkins Glen NARRA event. I plan on attending along with Mike Hayes in his GTR. We'll see if I can get a set of Pirelli motorsports slicks lined up before then, just a matter of funding.

 

I'l be there with Marc and Thai. Marc and are running HPDE, and I'll be crewing for Thai for TT.

 

^ these guys with pirelli slicks are going to be stiff competition for me with my DOT hoosier

 

You have to hope they encounter traffic by the time their tires are up to temp. A6's just do not have as much grip. And in June, it's hot in Jersey, A6's don't like hot. And if you aren't running stickers consider that strike #3.

You will have to drive better (or have a better setup) by a big margin to win.

 

^ yeah, the fastest lap is usually the morning or the last session if its late and the track cooled down. And i won't be on sticker.

 

I think Scott Mandell has driven the track before but Mike Hayes has not so it should open some chances... then again if he attends practice on Friday who knows! It's going to be tough competition for sure but will be fun.
