I'm pretty sure I'm the first one who's crazy enough to take one of these out there, anyway.

Novice Group - BMWCCA event, complete with straights in slooooooow motion.


I'm pretty sure I know why B-Spec picked a weekend where they were running the shorter course now--it took me half that long back straight just to pass an M5!

The track was a blaaaaast, though. Best birthday weekend ever!

I'm still relatively new at this, though, plus the CVT is terribad for anywhere where there's a sharp corner where it'd drop below 3500 RPM. Then I'd have zero power and it'd take forever to whirrrrrr back up into MIVEC. Pulling out of that sharp T11 onto the longest straight I've ever driven was preeeeeeeetty slow. "No, no, I want to take this point by. Please? PLEASE?!" My instructor started paddling like he was in a boat a few times--that was pretty funny.

Any advice on how to suck less would be welcome.

I was there for the auto-x on sunday. And I can honestly say this was the 1st time I was jealous of the track guys. All your lines looked excellent. Look how well you kept up with cars twice or 3 or 4 times more powerful

Should've come over and tried to catch some rides with the instructors or something. This track is seeeeeeeriously fun.
