Official MotoGP Thread

Noticed the lack of a MotoGP thread.

If anyone else is a fan make your presence known!

So excited for the 2014 season. Especially now that
Yamaha has the seamless transmission for the full season, I think
Jorge Lorenzo really has a shot at regaining the title.

So much going on, Rossi parts ways with Burgess, and Cal now tries to tame the Ducati.

You should have started this at the beginning of the 2013 season

I watch F1 & Moto GP every year, every race

Happy to see Marquez finally, finally button up the championship. Lorenzo was hard to beat & due to all that happened to him, he should have won it

Ill post up w/you as 2014 gets closer

Joe

Lorenzo will be a force to reckon with next year for sure. He broke his collar bone twice and still nearly won the title. Looking forward to seeing Scott Redding in GP next year. Will Pedrosa ever win a title? Hayden should be competitive again on a Honda but we'll see. As for Vale, he is definitely a top 5 rider but I can't see him winning another title with the level Marquez, Pedrosa, and Lorenzo are riding at now.

Yea, Jorge is going to be scary next year. Its going to be very fun to watch. Idk if you got to catch some of the Valencia testing but it was cool to see Redding out there. I honestly dont think Pedrosa is going to win. Hes a great rider but he has a lot of competition and I just dont feel he is as strong.

I really dont know what is in the future for Valentino. I cant believe he parted ways with Burgess, but I totally understand his rational. He needs to change up the equation. Although I wish the story didnt get leaked. I really felt bad, it was a total shock.

But next year is going to be really exciting. I know I cant wait

Going to be an interesting race today at Jerez.
Hoping Jorge can be back on the podium. 99 needs some points on the board!

Can't believe Bridgestone is parting ways at the end of the season. Any ideas on tire manufacturer to replace?

Been watching the season. Im a Marquez & Rossi fan for sure & great to see Val score a 2nd holding off both Lor & Ped

Not sure why Lorenzo is struggling. Maybe you can shed some light on that?

Joe

BTW, Today, had a good track day at my local track (Fontana Roval)

Well he crashed out in Qatar, and had a jump start in Austin. I think he's just psyched himself out. I think next race you'll see him on the podium. Glad to see Rossi is off to a good season, gonna be a good season.

I hate to say it but Marquez may very will wing EVERY DAMN RACE THIS YEAR. This kid is beyond Alien status. Wish Stoner was still around. He might have been the only guy to have an answer for him.

I honestly feel the same way, no one has an answer for Marqy Mark! If Pol was on a factory bike maybe. Jorge needs to step his game up though. Glad to see Val scoopin up points. It's gonna be a solid season for him. Just need a miracle to slow Marquez down.

Marquez rides with no fear. He just keeps the throttle pinned where others, namely the veterans Rossi, Lorenzo, & Pedrosa, will back off slightly. He comes from a generation where they put all trust in the traction control. The only reason I don't like Marquez is that he's beating Rossi. GO ROSSI!!!

Yes, was an awesome race last week! Think I'm going to rewatch it again tonight
That crash was pretty gnarly...
Glad to see Jorge has rebounded, now all he needs is 6 or 7 1st places to catch up
