Rally Pace Note Terms

Based on what I heard in the Monte Carlo rally vid posted on Jalopnik today, I googled:
early late plus minus tightens slippy "don't cut" deceptive "over crest" flat

https://www.google.com/#q=early+late...+crest%22+flat

One webpage in the entire world containing all of those terms.

I searched here before posting to see if this had been adequately addressed and didn't find what I wanted.

There you have it, enjoy.

Well, the truth is almost every car has a different pace note or terms. Yes there is guidelines, but its not like dictionary or rule for pace note. Here in the US. You get a so called Jamba notes, but that is just a reference or base notes for your race. If you didn't had a chance for recce.
Your own notes are always better.

Thanks for a thread though

Not really. Rather a truth. I just answered with a same attitude what they had and have after the accident. Hence my point, the sentence of his of my answer.

Low blow was when the organization decided based on they only one time "performance" to excluding a valuable member from any car in that race.
When really it was they Fault to let them Race in that configuration with that car, as a rookie, and not a car which is build to have a co-driver and in that class.

You're right the organizers shouldn't have allowed it just like they shouldn't over react by removing all codrivers. It happens all the time with a lot of things. Rules are too lax and then when something happens the pendulum swings too far the other direction. I'm sorry you're a victim of this Rob. I think you're on the east coast so there is plenty of nasa rally to keep you busy. RAs loss.

Thank you. Yes I'll be around East coast Hill climbs. I like them fast relaxed events with a lots of runs. RA doesn't care if I am not running it. But the other side of the coin, I don't give a damn also. I will be some Canadian events and some East coast rally that is a plan, instead to do Rally America or sanctioned events by them. I do it for fun, and there is plenty of great rally road and events around me. Politics in racing turns me off. RA as more and more you get into, seems more and more political etc. No wonder why they field 50 or more percent Subaru, then other big chunk are Ford....
Hm... If you wonder why Rally America has that much interest in Subaru and Ford... or vica versa. Any way that is enough about them.
just see the next Rally America entry list. Looks like no other cars really worth to run besides Subaru or ford . lol very few other cars there in numbers. But believe me there is a not two or three Evo rally car around.... out of 54 runner 28 Subaru and 10 is Ford. AAAND out of3 Mitsubishi - 2 evo... lol

On topic, paste note are essential, if you actually do know what they mean and you can understand and use it. It's a tool, plane and simple. Makes race very safe - fast at a same time. But it needs time and practice to master it.
