Once installed let us know how you like the Takata drift III. I been debating if I want those or the standard Race 4pt. What made u choose the drift? If u don't mind me asking thanks. Gl with the install...

I chose the drift because they are also certified street legal with the red button to I click the belt. And I went with the snap because my whole harnessbar/harnesses are now quick release and I will be able to remove everything in like 10 min haha

Cool thanks for the info. I was also debating the snap vs bolt versions. I think you just helped me decide which ones I'd like. Nice choice and logic behind it. Thanks again!

Probably you have to remove stock seat belt bolt on outside and install the bolt on takata harness.

This is a piece of safety equipment, so you need to do this right.

Take it to a race shop or contact the manufacturer for proper install instructions.

Aren't you supposed to remove the original bolts and replace them with "eye bolts" or add their snap on kit, Or did u already try that?

Hey,

The second one for the bendable snap bracket is just for when you put the harness in a hard to reach or tight fitting location Which I may have to do :/ haha

Normally, harnesses are either attached in stock locations (due to their tested strength and durability) or new ones are created (welded in usually).

With my Schroth harness, I used the snap-on clips for the shoulder attachment to the Buschur bar and the bolt-in buckles to mount to the stock seat belt locations. I'm not sure how to do it with snap-in clips that are sewn into the harness. Follow golgo13's suggestion and take it to a race shop.

Most likely you will end up having to use the snap on kit from Takata.

My harness' bolt to stock locations for the lap belt on the out side. The inside goes to a custom eyebolt mounting location that bots to the same spot as the seat on the tunnel.

I used all eye bolts and clips for sub and waist belts. I put them in the location (or as close as possible) advised by the manufacturer's installation instructions with a stainless steel 3"x2" backing plate using Grade 8 hardware, spring washer and loctite.

The shoulder harness is wrapped around the harness bar on the roll bar.

Used the snap kit and installed it to the stock locations from the stock belt and clip.

Can you take pics of it installed?

This appeals to both my "I want a Schroth ASM harness" and "it's GREEN"
