Track: Thunderhill 5 Mile Course No Bypass, 7/25/2014
Lap time: 4:13 (and change)
Car: 2011 Evo X
Mods: SSP cooler, Kosmic Surge Tank, ST-43 pads and DBA Cross Drilled Rotors (that’s about it). Tires are Bridgestone RE-11s.
Notes/Comments: This track is god like. I got a half day on the full course on opening day back in June. Got a full day on the 1.8 mile new track the day before, which really helped me learn the new track. By the end of the day it was 105 F on track.

How do you like the TD's? Curious to hear others opinions on them!

They are pretty awesome, but they seem to take a while to heat-up. Good communication when at the limit, which was nice for my HPDE skill level.

Track: Thompson Motor Speedway
Lap time: 1:24.734
Mods: in sig
Comments: I was looking forward to some lead/follow with my buddy in the black Evo but the truck at turn 1 had other ideas. Eventually caught back up. He has a front LSD and upgraded rear diff whereas I have a stock open front diff and stock rear diff. I'm on NT01s and Ohlins and he's on Star Specs and Bilsteins. It's also his first day at this track whereas it's my 3rd.

Thanks, Joe. Lots of lift and coast into corners where I don't want to grab the next gear for 50 meters. Leaving lots of time on the table there but I'm not winning anything in HPDE. The only prize is driving my car home at the end of the day.
