Brake pads for Track

Another vote for the Carbotech xp12 and xp10 combo. Really great stopping power, no fade, very minimal dust (which for a track pad is phenomenal) that comes off very easily, and good balance. Keep in mind this was with a stock powered Evo on the track, so if you have more power and the grip to handle it you may need something like the xp16.
I run xp24 and xp12 on my time trial Eclipse with pretty much the same exact feedback.
To qualify my comments though I actually have never used anything but carbotech pads in my 14 years of track driving. However, I have always out-braked every single car in front of me with carbotech's pads and with no real negative issues I've never had a reason to try anything else.

So, raybestos st43 and Carbotech xp12/xp10 seems to be nice for track using stock rotors. I'll check the prices to decide.
Anyone ever used raybestos st43 in front and hawk hps or hp plus in rear rotors? Does it works?

Depends on your experience. ST-43 are a good pad if you are getting started or running street compound tires. As you get faster and/ or have grippier tires, you can use a higher torque/ MU pad, ST-47, DTC 70, CL RC8, are all monster track pads that produce spectacular bite, but will quickly overwhelm your tires. The RC8s will eat your rotors too, but your harness will bruise you, as you stop so fast.
I highly suggest the RC 6E from CL Racing. The E is for endurance and has low rotor wear. You will not fade these pads and they have excellent initial bite and a nice coefficient of friction...which means you will notice the improvement over stock.
If you are going pure track go Carbotech. I ran CL RC6 which were a nice street / track pad but obnoxiously noisy. Have run both Hawk DTC 60 and Carbotech on track and 1000% Carbotech.
