The RC8s will eat your rotors too, but your harness will bruise you, as you stop so fast.
I'm using Pirelli Pzero slick tires. But, can I use ST-47, DTC 70 with oem rotors?

Thinking about HT-10's on Dunlop z1's thoughts? And to answer above you can use any pad with stock rotors but most racing compounds will wear them out quickly, thus people using an alternative as they are less expensive.

Good combo, I've run it in the past.

+1 for the centric ST47 combination.

Did a track day Monday in the rain with Dunlop Direzza ZII's, so it can be done you just have to learn to be smooth and gentle with initial brake application.

I used raybestos st43 with oem rotors in the last TD, they work great. Now I intend to upgrade the rotors and brake pads. Thinking about carbotech xp12, hawk dtc70 or similar. What do you think, worth the expense?

+1 on the st47's front st43's back

If you're willing to spend a little more, check out the Freodos DSUNO. MAP has them for decent price

The RC's 6-8 are good too, but I found them a bit harsh on the rotors, they have great stopping power thou.

CL RC6 tend to crumble in my experience. I don't worry about rotor wear anymore they are disposable and way cheaper than a set of good race pads.
