Mileage on chassis? Mileage on build? Compression tested recently? Any grinding or death whines from drivetrain components? Clean title?

Clean title, 52000 on chassis, 4000 on engine, 3200 break in the rest track, 100 miles on rear diff an t case at most, tranny is really good, never launched it or anything like that, the block is also clearanced for 100mm crank cause it was once a 2.3 for a short time. I haven't done a compression test but I could no big deal

I'm facing this same situation, with the same basic understanding. Selling a track car is hard and takes the right buyer.

I've been thinking around $20k as well. I noticed a few for sell over the last year, but it takes a while to sell them - and they were great deals.

Yea, it's all about finding the right buyer. The Evo is a niche car so you're already only marketing to enthusiasts but the number of enthusiasts who actually do motorsports is really small and the amount who actually want/can afford a dedicated track car is a very slim audience.

I'm still looking for a buyer for mine at $15k but it's HPDE prepped, not full cage race prepped.

If either of you are looking to trade for a much less modded evo, pm me. I'm on the fence of taking the plunge to full race car, or trying to trade for one already sorted.

Thanks but I already have a Focus ST daily so I'm looking for cash only. I highly recommend buying one that's already built. Mine's stock motor (except for cams from the prior owner) and stock 10.5 hotside turbo and I still have over $15k in it.
