That was something to watch, it was like Hami and Nico were standing still as the Williams blew by them.

So from what I've been reading, when it rains the decision to switch tires falls heavily on the driver and less on the strategists. So it was a stroke of genius on Hamilton's and Vettel's part.

There was talk about if Massa had let Bottas by, he could've won the race because he had faster pace. I thought he only appeared to have faster pace because he could use DRS behind Massa and Massa couldn't. What do you guys think?

That's how it appeared to me. Bottas was complaining so the pit wall gave him the OK to make a clean pass, but he was never able to do it. So if he was faster, it was marginal at best.

i have to say i am proud to be Hungarian today, the best race for sure so far for this year and i dare to say for a loooooooong time. I haven't see race which had so much drama, win - loose, action etc. and finished without any injury , and almost no DNF.
spectacular race. 17 years old on a podium etc.

Man i got my faith back about circuit racing. What a show!!!!!

^^^Youre right, that was a good race but disappointed in what ROS did to himself late in the race (he screwed the pooch)

One of nuances of the race that most non turbo guys would not have noticed, is when RAI had to restart his car. During the shut down procedure, you could here the turbo spooling down (sounded amazing to me)

Awesome race for sure! I would say Silverstone wasn't boring either. The race was never predictable. Neither driver is being favored by Merc. People complain about engine noise and limited aero development but does it really matter when the racing is so good?

This season hasn't been boring like the Redbull era. WTH was Rosberg thinking? He went from taking the season lead to falling further back in points to Hamm. LOL!

Well another race is in the books at the breath taking Spa Francorchamps. Quite a bit of drama with all the tire blow outs. But this time I don't think Pirelli is to blame. Hamilton cruised to another victory but the battle for 3rd and further down the grid was pretty exciting. Perez really shone with the Force India and should've stayed out longer regardless of the Ricciardo undercut from RedBull. That 1st pit stop was waaaaay too soon.

The threat of rain toward the end of the race never materialized. I think Vettel was more angry about losing 3rd place than the fact that his tire blew out. The start with the new revised rules was pretty cool as some drivers gained spots while others fell back. Pretty decent race overall. Can't wait till the next race.

Now there are rumors of Redbull getting Merc engines. Linky

If I were Merc, I would tell them to go pound sand.

Any chance Ferrari carries their momentum into 2016, and actually gives Lewis some real competition?

anything can happen in the off season. a team can be really strong one season then go way backward the next season. look at what happened to McLaren and RBR. or Brawns GP that wins WC in one year.

I was reading McLaren has had the longest streak of non podiums ever. Also it seems RedBull is without an engine for next year. McLaren has vetoed Honda supplying RedBull. Merc and Ferrari have said no. Who thinks, RedBull will go crawling back to Renault?

McLaren telling honda not to supply engines to RBR probably mean them and honda have something up their sleeves, they might have a competitive engine for next year.

Either that, or they don't want anyone else to benefit from the Honda engine in the event they do ever figure it out. McLaren certainly paid their dues this year to help them get it right.

The expression on the 1st guy's face is priceless.

It seems like Aston Martin might buy into the Force India team and be a title sponsor and Renault might finally pull the trigger and buy the Lotus team. Makes me wonder why Renault didn't just buy RedBull.
