Track is Lime Rock Park in CT.

 

Was that the last turn before the main straight...I heard that turn is nasty.

No. He lost it comming off of "no name straight" on the "up hill". He needs quicker hands.

Yeah, it looks like he kinda just froze up when the back end came around.

Whatever the case, that dude played himself. I hope that wasn't his daily driver.

He turned in too soon for that curve. The apparent apex was way too early. He was going too fast for that line, jerked the wheel to the right, probably applied the brakes, got terminal oversteer, the rear left wheel got caught in the dirt, and he rolled.

I think he was also watching the Porsche too much, instead of paying attention to what he was doing. Classic problem!

Good thing nobody got hurt.

I think this is a great demonstration of what can happen if you lose your concentration on a road track.
