i run 3.4* camber on track and the outer edge still always wear out first, on a6 and a7. i always flip the tires halfway through. my last set of a7 corded outside after one weekend of TT, but i think it was more chunked because weather was below freezing.
You definitely don't have enough camber, tire pressure, roll control, and/or a combination of the three. Need to be closer to the 4deg range on hoosiers, more sway bar if you don't want stiffer springs, and 38+ psi.

I was always told that Hoosier's like less camber (road racing??). Like -2.8F -1.5R But that was for the R6? Is it that much different on a A7?? Sorry to hijack the thread.
That could be in terms of a proper sports car but on a front heavy mac strut with a terrible roll center it definitely needs more. Before I added caster I ran -4.2deg, after -3.9.
Yeah -3 is not a whole lot for race tires. We were running -3.3 in an STU car on BFG/Bridgestone, and in my SM car I'm just a little north of -4 (or south, depending on how you look at it, I guess)
Wow! I set the car at -3.5 and increased the stiffness of the swaybar on both f/r so that it doesnt understeer by just increasing front stiffness. Ordered a new set so will see next month!
I was also only running 32psi, so will try 38psi for the new set too.
32psi will feel artificially grippier. I ran into that same problem a couple years ago. Hoosiers like more pressure but they did seem to be a bit harder to feel out.
Hoosier recommend to me 39-41 hot for air pressure for DOT R6. I'm think the air pressure is too low and that could cause the outer wear. Slicks are very sensitive to wrong air pressures. I'd recommend taking tire temperatures and see what tire temps are. I've also been told that -2.8 is plenty for camber by a few races. However tire temps will tell that story.

^ This: Every degree of body roll is lost Camber and outer wall rollover.
Also, what size tire vs wheel width? I had issues with this with rims narrower than the tread width of the tire, you get bad outer sidewall rollover.
And yes you will have to flip the tires regularly.

They are 275/35/17 on 17x9.5.
Just saw this, rims are too narrow. Hoosier reccomends rim width within 1/2" of tread width. I believe 275's are listed at 10.3 tread width, should be running a 10 or 10.5 rim width. You are getting outer sidewall roll.
