Get a Motive bleeder. It will save so much time and effort. I've been using them for years and they are a life saver (and relationship saver).

Which cap are you using? With the correct one, it's impossible for it to come off.

I use 0107/1107

 

yea, the really high end one that also matches ford I believe, and has the aluminum red cap or w/e. used it before with no problem, maybe I didn't fully get it on there. will do it again soon

 

It's a sweet spot for sure, i've missed it several times and dumped fluid all down that side.

 

thanks for the help. will first flush to either rule out air or master cylinder and see how the brakes feel after that. once the pedal feels at least relatively normal, I'll throw on new rotors and probably carbotech xp8 pads which seem to best fit my use.

odd.. you just missed a great deal on Castrol srf online though. was 57.30 but just jumped up. to be honest I think that's what my next fluid is going to be..

 

Yep same deal with things like Voltex. If they actually carried enough in stock so I could get it when I needed it sure I'd pay to play, but things being "unavailable" is a deal killer for me, so onto plan C.

 

I think RL is fine but I'm unable to even log into my RL account on their website.

 

Im currently running RT700 and I love it! But I believe the company doesnt exist anoymore. How can they have such a great product then disappear?

I also only have like half a bottle left. Sucks if i have to switch from something that works so well.
