ASP EBC Install Q

Hey guys,
Is there anything I need to do (or not do) when having my EBC installed to keep it ASP legal? I'm scheduled for install and re-tune for Friday morning and I want to make sure I do it correctly. I ask because the rules state that the EBC may be "altered or modified" but doesn't state that it can be replaced or substituted. Honestly I'm not sure whats involved in the actual install but I figured I would ask here so that I can tell my tuner what to do to keep it legal.

Thanks in advance,
JJ

An upraded boost controller is legal in ASP. There is really only one way to install it anyways..

I guess I was just a bit concerned since I read on another forum something to the effect that an EBC is legal but that the stock hardware must be used. Then when I read the rules I could see how interpretation might pose a problem. With that said I have no idea if the EBC actually replaces something or if it modifies something.

Your new EBC replaces the stock EBC. I ran a manual boost controller in local ASP events, and I even asked, and everyone said it was legal (back in 2014)..

as long as you're not messing with the turbo pretty much everything else goes for boost control. Nothing to worry about.
