No idea, and I don't even think Bryan knows his plans for Nats (or even for the rest of this season), but he did register for the Fontana Pro, so STU will have 3 National champs in it with some Nats trophy winners as well, should be fun

He got C5 Corvette for B-Street for this year, so you are safe for one year until he modifies it for STU!!

Brian is running with some of my Oregon Region friends. Sins Performance has 2 C5 BS corvettes with the plan for one to eventually head to STU. Just didnt happen for this year. But Brian will be running with them at least this year for I believe all the westcoast stuff along with Nats.

Comparison video from our SCCA season opener on 3/31/18. It was a cold morning and STU ran 1st heat unfortunately, but I was able to PAX 1st during that time frame. Took the class by 1.5 seconds, but I think Wolly (Nats trophy winning 350z) was having an off day or the cold didn't really help his car. After reviewing the videos, there was definitely a few spots where I could have gained another tenth or two.

Against the 1st place full prep STR S2000 with good driver. Beat the ND's by half a second. (and me by a tenth on Raw time.)

Really enjoying this STU X so far. Its a joy to drive. Still working out the suspension setup and no tune just yet, but I think its a contender. The Nexens are super forgiving as well, maybe too forgiving actually. lol

SCCA local #2 this weekend. Felt like a July event as the temps were in the low 80's. Ran heat 2. Was excited as this was the first "warm" event of the year for me. With about 30 runs on the Nexens, they should be in their sweet spot. Unfortunately, I didn't perform up to my expectations. Fastest raw being 53.6 on my last run with a scratch time of 53.1. 1st in class. PAX 23 out of 116. I want to say the course wasn't very AWD friendly, but that would be just another excuse. The Nexens were ok to start. Come up to temp quick and by my 3rd run, was already in the low 53's. Started spraying after run 2, but should have after the 1st. By the 4 and 5th runs, the fronts were giving up on the last 3rd of the course. Also noticed they need a lot more pressure with the increase in grip/temps. Will go up to 36-37 psi up front at the next event and thinking of adding a bit of front camber.

What do you guys do when you get inside front wheel lift? I know Evo's lift the rear wheel while cornering, but even from the first event this year, I've had people tell me that they've seen the front up on corner exit. I've come to the conclusion that the X front LSD is not so good so I'd like to get that front down to help with power on corner exit.

Interesting.

I co-drove a buddy's STU Evo X at the last event of 2017 and the same happened then. He (the owner) mentioned its never happened to him, but clearly seen my car do it this year.

edit: Here's my run from last year. Listen at the 39-40 sec mark. You can hear the rev limiter as the inside front lights up. GPS speed in the 40's. RPM signal cut out for whatever reason.

Stock front bar with Ciro Brackets on the stiffest setting. Whiteline rear bar on stiff.

Has anyone retuned for the new boost rules?

I'm not expecting much, if any, real gains. Prior discussion on the topic wasn't promising.

I wont mention who, but Ive heard of only regaining the delta lost from fuel change. Constrast with subarus that have gained potential.

Without open boost, how much power were you guys gaining going from 93 to 100? With stock boost hardware, I can't imagine the turbo spooling any faster. I'd rather have quicker torque down low on 93 octane with open boost vs 100 on stock boost.
