I have a fixed Corbeau cause I was to cheap to buy a sparco Evo. Had a 5 point to use with it for AX and track but it was more of a pain than anything with multiple drivers. Since its the seat that does all the holding for me, I just went back to the stock seatbelt and its been 100% better.

when you install the 5 Pt, where did you hook up the side harness and the 5th/bottom?

What are you planning to do for a roll bar or cage? Seats + harnesses are a bad idea in a car with no rollover protection.

if you're going to be doing a good bit of track and also drive on street a lot, look into sparco Ergo with removable halo. put halo on for track and remove them for street.

I have a Sparco Evo II US. It's a bit big for me (30-32" waist) but fits most people well. It's comfortable enough I can drive 1.5hrs to the track and not even notice. It's the nicest seat I've sat in, so far and I'd recommend it to anyone not needing a halo.

Glad to hear. Let us know what you come up with. I'm also a bigger guy (36-38 waist, 6'1"). Would like to find a seat that fits me and also fits in the car. From what I've read the sparco evo 2 isn't a great fit.

I am 38-40 waist. Been very happy with my Status race seats. Not well known, but a great FIA approved seat. I’m on sliders and still low in car. I remove foam pad for track days which puts me super low in car. Will update with pic. Don’t use Status harness. They are terrible.

Bucket seats

i ended up with Sparco Sprint L.

i was so impressed with fitment. 38” waistline no problem. Also, its not bulky and wide in the side. Fit well inside the car!

It sit on my old planted bracket, but i ordered bracket with slider. I know it will fit like a champ. Im happy!

heres some pictures.

With my IX, I had a Racetech bucket seat with a Schroth Rallye 3 ASM harness, but I also left the stock belts in the car. When autocrossing, I would pull the Schroth harness from the back of the seat to the front to use, and for street driving, I would put the harness behind the seat and pull the stock belt to the front. Worked pretty well for 9 years.
