They were at NCM today & were doing well until they lost the UICP to throttle body. Andy had to limp it around the track. Not sure why they were not using T-clamps?
Also, not sure where they stand, overall, in the competition?
T-Bolts pinch and don't create a good seal. Not to meantion they are too wide to be used on the TB. Heavy duty worm clamps work better. this really wasn't a clamping issue.
Still managed to take a 5th overall despite driving with ZERO boost for 1.5 laps.
Congrats guys! Frustrating to see the nanny issues when all the big stuff worked as planned. Great effort and performance overall. I want to do this next year, but fear the hardest part for me will be e85 supply and the long drives in-between all the tracks. Enjoyed watching you all.

finding e85 isn't that hard. we've done it a few years with never switching off of e85. Get a little trailer and put a fuel cell on it. We had 25 gallons of fuel capacity not counting the car's tank.
I'd have to imagine we will try it again next year in the evo. Its so very capable.
Nice driving too by the way. Kind of looks like you are getting some wheel hop coming out of a few corners?
315-30-18 yes.
We changed spring rates and never got to test the car. By the end things got a lot better, but still not perfect. We wish we could have had more time and done a REAL test event to get everything dialed in and workout any kinks, but it didn't work out that way.
Something seems a bit weird with the rear tire in the video. Might be in my head, but I feel like I can see the toe change through out the run. Anyone else see that?

Dallas
I can certainly see the suspension loading / unloading. Is it possible to see degrees of toe change during the hard compression's? Under compression, would it toe out or in?
After what happended to Kens T's car, im not sold on the WF susp, yet.
The RS guys have sure put the WF suspension to the test, for sure!
I watched it a couple times but it's hard to tell if it's just suspension compression or actually toe change. First time I watched it comparing a line on the sidewall to the wheel arch and looked to see if their parallelism changed much. The second time I watched the front of the tire in relation to the body of the car. Definitely not easy to tell, especially when the camera is shaking.

Saw the same thing. I think it is bumper cover flex though
