Also, they were thinking having the port coming straight out of the valve cover to the catch can was not ideal. Just basically sending all the oil direct to the catch from the VC. Even adding a 90degree elbow from the top would probably help.
Once they vented the PCV side of the valve cover it all was good.

Tscomp increases the diameter of the intake port and connects it back to the intake. This way the air intake is always pulling the gases out.

Ha. No, i stopped recording in between to save on file size.
They did facebook live stream the entire removal. Once it was removed they actually had to wait about 25 minutes for the new clutch to arrive before they could get back at it. Not sure if work here but i'll try to add it.

From: Why do they always call the Evo the Dark Side?
Thank you for putting the documentary together. Finally got to watch it last night - that was awesome. I am always rooting for you guys.
The video both gets me hyped up to do OLOA and completely terrified to do it
I don't think my mechanical abilities are ready for the level of mechanical failure an event like this might offer.

Eitherway, the RS crew is always down to help others if you have issues on the trip

And the torn charge pipe coupler and fuel pump grommet are super easy to diag/fix.
Eh, one could better prep the car to avoid failures. Replace wheel bearings prior to the event is something I would probably do.

Wasn't bashing at all. They didn't really have any "avoidable" or prep-related major issues. It would be interesting to see the failure mode of the bolts for the clutch. I just don't see them shearing off if they didn't come loose.
