Evo 8/9 vs Evo X trailing arm. Are they the same?

Trying to figure out the differences in 8/9 vs X rear suspension and making a batch of trailing arms I need to know if they'll work with the X. Ideally i'd find out without having to order more OEM X parts from eBay.

Anyone have experience with both?

Completely different. The X uses a vertical bolt at the chassis, CT9a uses a horizontal bolt.

Ahh, ok thats definitely different. We'll see if I ever get to do anything on the EvoX rear. I think I can sell some but not sure itll get as popular as the 8/9

I'm not sure the X needs it. They have all kinds of room even with an 18x10.5 +25 wheel.

So sounding like you guys have the same issue and could use a bushing just like 8/9 guys need. Does anyone make something already or is this just an unfiled need?

I haven't changed anything mounting or bushing related in the rear. Which bushing are you referencing?

Sorry, was multi-tasking here. I meant trailing arm for more tire inboard clearance. I dont know what your inner limit is to start with.
